I am excited to share my latest hat pattern: Jamie. I gave it an androgynous name because this hat would look equally cute on a boy or a girl!
If you love the look of fair isle but are intimidated by alternating colors every few stitches, this project is for you! Using an easy-to-memorize slip-stitch pattern, you get the effect of stranded colorwork while working with just one color per round! This whimsical pattern allows you to blow through your stash and experiment with color combinations.
The pattern, child-sized with guidelines for sizing up or down, is available here.

Boy did you ever nail the unisex thing! So cute but could really work for boy or girl. BTW the eyelashes on that adorable model of yours are unbelievable!

I love it. I’m so intrigued to try it out because of the slip-stitch approach. I’ve been promising a friend that I would make a hat for her 3-year-old – I think this is the one!
