Pattern: Scoop-Neck Vest

Yarn: Knit Picks Andean Silk in Allspice

Needles: Size 7 (size 6 for neck and armhole ribbing)

Mods: Used a tubular cast-on for a more finished look at the bottom (definitely worth doing); knit 12″ of ribbing before changing to stockinette; picked up more stitches than called for around the neck; after picking up stitches for neck and armhole ribbing, twisted the first round of stitches.

Notes:  This was a quick and satisfying knit.  I’m convinced there are some errors in the pattern towards the end, but by the time you get there, you know what to do anyway.

Stay tuned…for a little sewing.
