Last week we were in Lake Tahoe. Although I consider myself a decent — perhaps even better-than-average — amateur photographer, I simply cannot take photos that do this place justice. It is — in my opinion (a phrase strongly encouraged by my daughter’s teacher, which I have adopted!) — perhaps the most spectacular place on earth. I am just so…happy…when I am there. Anyway, here are a few shots. (If you’d like to compare my photos from last summer and last winter, click here, here and here.)
(Do not adjust your screen — the water is THAT blue.)

The Truckee River -- we spend as much time on it as we do on the lake.

I’m there — as long as there’s an Ikeda’s stop on the way.

Okay, here’s a question from the ignorant Minnesotan: Do you wear gloves when you waterski or were those for the parasailing? We don’t tend to use gloves for waterskiing here that’s why I ask. The scenery looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ll save Tahoe for when my kids are both teens and not impressed by anything anymore. It should knock their socks off 🙂

We didn’t waterski but we went on a boat with people who do so I believe those gloves were for waterskiing. One thing about Lake Tahoe — the water is ICE cold! 🙂 You’ll love it though! THANKS for the comment!!!
