I’m on the foot (well, feet) of my Cookie A sock club socks.
Typical of lacy knit items, the beauty of this pattern won’t be evident until they are completed and modeled. Already, I’m very happy with them. The pattern has been fun and interesting but not too challenging. I’ve been so into sock knitting that I decided to try out another sock yarn that I’ve been hearing raves about: Hazel Knits Artisan Sock.
I bought this skein at a reasonable price from a Raveler who was de-stashing. I love the neutral color and when it arrived, it struck me that it is also the exact color of my two dogs! I plan to make Never Not Knitting’s Amelie socks, which I have long admired. I had a two-for-one coupon from purchasing her Coast Knits book so I also picked up a hat pattern.
